Here you can efficiently manage <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/tasks\/\">tasks<\/a>, approvals, and workflow runs without having to manually comb through each workflow run to get your work done.<\/p>\n<p>For managers and team leaders, it\u2019s also a great place to help monitor and manage the rest of your team\u2019s work.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Users: All builders, users and guests can access My Work.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<h3>Get set up to use My Work<\/h3>\n<p>To get started, you\u2019ll need to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/task-assignments\/\">assign<\/a> tasks, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/approvals\/\">approvals<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/what-is-a-workflow-run\/\">workflow runs<\/a> to users (or groups) so that they appear in each user\u2019s My Work.<\/p>\n<p>A best practice is to also set <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/task-due-dates\/\">due dates<\/a> on your tasks or the whole workflow runs, that way users have a deadline to work towards and this also helps prioritize items in My Work.<\/p>\n<p><em>If you don\u2019t see anything on your list in My Work, it is because you haven\u2019t been assigned to any tasks or workflow runs yet.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Working through your tasks<\/h3>\n<p>In My Work, your default view is one where all the tasks and workflow runs are assigned to you and grouped by due dates. You can sort and filter your work as you go through your list.<\/p>\n<p>The icons next to each item on your list help you identify the work assigned to you.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8018\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mw.png\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mw.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mw-300x150.png 300w, https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mw-768x384.png 768w\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click on a task or workflow name in the first column to work on it. Here you can fill form fields, upload attachments, add comments, or mark tasks as complete.<\/p>\n<p>Completing a task will expand the next item on your list as per the filters, sorting, or grouping applied.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17791\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com\/bolin\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/work-work1.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Note<\/strong>: If you\u2019re unable to mark a task complete, it\u2019s likely due to an incomplete required field or form field validation.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>From My Work, you can also navigate to the workflow run or workflow where you have tasks assigned by clicking their names in the table.<\/p>\n<h3>Snooze<\/h3>\n<p>You can snooze a task or a workflow run to hide it from your list until you\u2019re ready to get back to it.<\/p>\n<p>To snooze a task or a workflow run, click the <strong>Snooze icon<\/strong> next to its name then select the date and time until you want to snooze it, as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8025\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mw-snooze.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To find your snoozed tasks, click the <strong>Snooze<\/strong> filter at the top. You can unsnooze your tasks from here, as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mw-unsnooze.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To exit the snoozed filter, click it again, as shown above.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Note<\/strong>: Snoozing a task will not affect its due date. Nor will it snooze in any other task assignees\u2019 My Work.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Comments<\/h3>\n<p>While working on tasks, you can leave <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/comments\/\">comments<\/a> to keep your team in the loop or to request action from them.<\/p>\n<p>To access these comments in My Work, click the <strong>Comments<\/strong> icon next to each task or workflow run, as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8019\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mw-comments.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Search and sort through My Work<\/h3>\n<p>You can look for a specific task by entering a relevant term in the search bar.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8020\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mw-search-n-sort.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can also sort your view by clicking the arrows next to the column names to look for your tasks, as shown above.<\/p>\n<h3>Group your work<\/h3>\n<p>If it\u2019s easier for you to work on our list when it\u2019s grouped, you can group it by due dates or workflow runs.<\/p>\n<p>To group by the due date, click <strong>Group by<\/strong> then select <strong>Due date<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>When you group your tasks by due date, all your overdue tasks move to the top of your list for your immediate attention. These are followed by tasks due today, due this week, due this month, due later, and lastly, those without a due date.<\/p>\n<p>The six due date groups are:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Overdue<\/strong> \u2014 tasks past their due date<\/li>\n<li><strong>Due today<\/strong> \u2014 tasks due today<\/li>\n<li><strong>Due this week<\/strong> \u2014 tasks due within the current week<\/li>\n<li><strong>Due this month<\/strong> \u2014 tasks due within the current month<\/li>\n<li><strong>Due later<\/strong> \u2014 tasks due beyond this month<\/li>\n<li><strong>No due date<\/strong> \u2014 tasks without a due date<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You can expand or collapse the due dates to focus on a specific set, as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8022\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mw-group-by-date.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To group by workflow runs, click <strong>Group by<\/strong> then select <b>Workflow run<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>When you group your tasks by workflow runs, your active workflow runs will appear in alphabetical order and you can sort the tasks under them, as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8021\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mw-group-by-run.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To ungroup your tasks, click the <strong>Group by<\/strong> filter and select <strong>None<\/strong>, as shown above.<\/p>\n<h3>Filter your view<\/h3>\n<p>You can further filter your view to work on certain kinds of tasks.<\/p>\n<p>Using the <strong>All types<\/strong> filter, you can select all the workflow tasks, workflow runs, approvals, and tasks assigned to you.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8030\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mw-filters.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you want to focus on your list by workflows instead, you can use the workflow filter, as shown above.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Note:<\/strong> If you have set filters, when you come back to My Work, you will see the same view as the previous filters until you reset them.<\/em><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Viewing teammate\u2019s My Work<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>To assess your team\u2019s workload or get a quick look at who\u2019s working on what, you can filter your view by <strong>Assignees.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8023\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mw-other-user.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Note<\/strong>: <strong>Admins<\/strong>, <strong>Builders<\/strong>, and <strong>Users<\/strong> can view tasks assigned to other users. <strong>Guests<\/strong> can view only their own tasks.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Reassign<\/h3>\n<p>You can reassign tasks from My Work to manage workloads within your team.<\/p>\n<p>To add or remove assignees, navigate to the <strong>Assignees<\/strong> column and hover over any of the assignees. Click the edit button and make changes, as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8027\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mw-reassign.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Due Dates<\/h3>\n<p>As you manage your tasks if you find that the due date on a task or a workflow run has been updated, you can edit, add, or remove the due date by clicking on it, as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8026\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mw-due-date.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Bulk actions<\/h3>\n<p>To manage and declutter your tasks, you can mark them as complete or snooze them in bulk.<\/p>\n<p>Check the box next to a task or workflow run then select <strong>Mark as complete<\/strong> or <strong>Snooze<\/strong> from the floating menu at the bottom of the screen, as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8029\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/mw-bulk.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can also unsnooze tasks in bulk in the Snoozed filter, as shown above.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Note:<\/strong> If you\u2019re unable to mark a task complete, it\u2019s likely due to an incomplete required field or form field validation.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Create a new task<\/h3>\n<p>As you work through your tasks in My Work, you can also add to your action items by creating <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/tasks\/\">Tasks<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Click the <strong>+ Task<\/strong> button in the top right of your screen and create a task.
