Process Street<\/a>‘s email widget lets you send emails from your workflow runs at the click of a button.<\/p>\n

Create emails using the rich text editor or by writing HTML, which lets you add formatting, images, links, buttons, email signatures, or links to your social channels and website.<\/p>\n

Send Email Widget<\/h2>\n

Create emails using the rich text editor or by copying and pasting HTML code. This lets you add formatting, images, links, buttons, email signatures, or links to your social channels and website.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> Use only one format to create your email \u2014 either rich text or HTML. Switching between the two while creating your email is likely to cause errors.<\/em><\/p>\n

Customize emails<\/h3>\n

To customize your email before sending, use form fields and insert variables<\/a> in the email template.<\/p>\n

File attachments<\/h3>\n

Add files to the email using the File Upload<\/a> form field and insert that as a variable in your email. Avoid symbols like &, *, # in the file name \u2014 these characters are not supported.<\/p>\n

Mail client<\/h3>\n

By default, emails are sent from mailer@mail.process-street-mail.com<\/code>. If your organization has configured a custom sender domain, emails are sent from that domain instead.<\/p>\n

When the recipient replies to your email, the reply goes to the user who sent the email from the workflow run.<\/p>\n

Sent emails<\/h3>\n

As soon as you send an email via the widget, a timestamp shows when the email was sent. Check the Workflow Run Activity Feed<\/a> to verify if the email was sent and by whom.<\/p>\n

Legacy email widget<\/h2>\n

Note:<\/strong> Since April 20, 2022, the legacy email widget has been replaced with the rich text & HTML email widget.<\/em><\/p>\n

If your legacy email widget isn’t working properly, there may be something you need to change in the email itself, or in the way your computer or device is set up to handle emails.<\/p>\n

Here are some common issues that can prevent your emails from being sent from the widget.<\/p>\n

Your default mail client is set incorrectly<\/h3>\n

If your email opens as a draft in an email client you don’t normally use, change the default mail client on the device you are using.<\/p>\n

Each device may have a different default mail client, so check each one is set with the client you prefer.<\/p>\n
