{"id":5928,"date":"2022-04-01T08:00:29","date_gmt":"2022-04-01T08:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/switch-organizations\/"},"modified":"2026-05-01T15:52:38","modified_gmt":"2026-05-01T15:52:38","slug":"switch-organizations","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/switch-organizations\/","title":{"rendered":"How To Switch Organizations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you belong to more than one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/\">Process Street<\/a> organization, you can switch between them to access different workflows, workflow runs, and tasks.<\/p>\n<h2>Use cases<\/h2>\n<p>You might be part of more than one organization if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You operate more than one business<\/li>\n<li>You have been invited into a client or vendor&#8217;s organization<\/li>\n<li>You maintain a personal organization in addition to one for your business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to switch organizations<\/h2>\n<p>You have two ways to switch organizations in your Process Street account: via <a href=\"https:\/\/app.process.st\/users\/me\/manage\/organizations\">this shortcut link<\/a> or via your profile icon.<\/p>\n<h3>Via your profile icon<\/h3>\n<p>Click on your profile icon in the top right corner of your screen.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13171\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/switch-org.gif\" alt=\"Switching organizations from the profile icon dropdown\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The options underneath your current organization are the organizations you can switch to. Click one of the other organization names to be taken to it.<\/p>\n<p>If you have many organizations, they may not all appear in this dropdown list. In that case, select &#8220;<strong>Manage organizations<\/strong>&#8221; from the dropdown when you click on your profile icon, as shown above.<\/p>\n<h3>Via the Manage Organizations page<\/h3>\n<p>From the Manage Organizations page, click &#8220;<strong>Switch<\/strong>&#8221; next to the organization you want to change to.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7398\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Switch-Organizations.png\" alt=\"The Manage Organizations page showing the Switch button\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Your current organization is highlighted in the list.<\/p>\n<h2>FAQ<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Where can I find the workflows or workflow runs I was working on?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you can&#8217;t find workflows or workflow runs, they may be in another organization. Switch organizations to search for them. If needed, you can also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/copy-templates-between-organizations\/\">copy the workflow to your other organization<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I accidentally created another organization instead of joining my team&#8217;s organization. How do I delete it?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are the admin for both organizations, you can delete the one you no longer need.<\/p>\n<p>Remove any other users from your <a href=\"https:\/\/app.process.st\/organizations\/manage\/users\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Users &amp; Guests page<\/a> first. Then go to your <a href=\"https:\/\/app.process.st\/users\/me\/manage\/organizations\">Manage Organizations<\/a> page, switch to your desired organization, and click the trash icon next to the unwanted organization to leave it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> If your organization is on a trial subscription, contact our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/support\/\">support team<\/a> so the trial can be canceled. Once that is done, you can delete the organization. If your organization is on a paid subscription, cancel it first from your <a href=\"https:\/\/app.process.st\/organizations\/manage\/billing\">billing page<\/a>, then remove yourself from the organization.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I got a message that my trial is due to end, but I have a paid subscription. Why is that?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You may have accidentally created another organization. All new organizations start on a 14-day free trial of Process Street, so the message you received relates to the trial subscription, not your paid account. Contact our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/support\/\">support team<\/a> so the trial can be canceled.
