{"id":6513,"date":"2023-12-14T08:00:38","date_gmt":"2023-12-14T08:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/analytics\/"},"modified":"2026-04-15T12:26:04","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T12:26:04","slug":"analytics","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/analytics\/","title":{"rendered":"Analytics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Being able to view the performance of your processes, your team, or clients is critical to making sure all your work is on track.<\/p>\n<p>Review the progress of tasks, workflow runs, and monitor how many runs are being completed over time.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Analytics-donut-charts.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Users: Admins, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/what-is-a-full-member\/\">Builders<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/what-is-a-free-member\/\">Users<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/guests\/\">Guests<\/a> can see Reports, however, what they can see is determined by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/user-permissions\/\">permissions<\/a> you have set them.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<h2>How to use analytics<\/h2>\n<p>Access analytics from your library via the chart icons which relate to the number of active workflow runs you have, or head straight to your reports tab.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13674\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Analytics-library-link.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select a saved view from the left of your screen, and then switch from <strong>table<\/strong> view to <strong>analytics<\/strong> view in the top right corner of your screen, as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13660\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Analytics-scaled.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select either a single workflow or select all your workflows. Adjust the filters to change the data you see in your charts.<\/p>\n<p>Selecting <strong>one workflow<\/strong> gives you a detailed view with both <strong>workflow run<\/strong> data and <strong>task<\/strong> data, while selecting <strong>all your workflows<\/strong> gives you an overview of <strong>workflow run<\/strong> data across every workflow.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13671\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Analytics-apply-changes.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click <strong>Apply<\/strong> to update your charts.<\/p>\n<p>Next, save your view so that your charts will be visible the next time you click on your saved view.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13673\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Analytics-save-view-scaled.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Note:<\/strong> If your charts don&#8217;t load stating &#8216;<strong>Not enough data yet<\/strong>&#8216;, it is likely because you need to assign your workflow runs or tasks to your team first.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Chart types<\/h2>\n<h3>Charts for a single workflow<\/h3>\n<p>Selecting a single workflow displays 8 charts covering both workflow run and task data:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Workflow Runs Summary<\/li>\n<li>Workflow Run Counts<\/li>\n<li>Workflow Run Average Completion Time<\/li>\n<li>Workflow Run Status by Assigned User<\/li>\n<li>Overall Workflow Status<\/li>\n<li>Overall Task Status<\/li>\n<li>Task Completion &amp; Status<\/li>\n<li>Task Status by Assigned User<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Charts for all workflows<\/h3>\n<p>Selecting all workflows displays 2 charts with a high-level overview of workflow run data:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Workflow Run Completion &amp; Status<\/li>\n<li>Workflow Run Status by Assigned User<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Download your charts<\/h2>\n<p>Click on the expand icon on any chart to view it full screen. Next, click the download button to download your chart as a PNG file.<\/p>\n<p>This allows you to use your charts in slide decks, or anywhere else you&#8217;d like to report your data.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13676\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Analytics-download-chart-scaled.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Learn more about using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/reports\/\">Reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>I hit a snag\u2026<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are loading all workflows (and you have hundreds of workflows) then your browser may time out.<\/li>\n<li>Check your internet connection.
