Process Street<\/a>‘s Workflow Dashboard is your workflow command center. It is intuitively designed for you to manage and optimize your workflows.<\/p>\n

It also helps your team to discover some of our core features that can boost their productivity.<\/p>\n

It shows you the workflow’s connected automations, activity log, workflow runs, analytics, and tasks assigned to you. It also displays all the different ways in which you can run this workflow.<\/p>\n

Whether you’re a manager reviewing process performance or a team member working on your tasks, this dashboard is your hub to find actionable insights and workflow runs in one place.<\/p>\n

Task and workflow run summary<\/h2>\n

This summary gives you the cumulative number of tasks and workflow runs<\/a> that are active and completed for this workflow and the status that they’re in.<\/p>\n

The summary stats \u2014 on track, due soon, overdue, and average completion time \u2014 are based on the most recent 1,000 workflow runs<\/strong> for the workflow. This keeps the data relevant to your current activity and the dashboard loading quickly.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> For workflows with fewer than 1,000 runs, the stats reflect all runs. For workflows with more than 1,000 runs, a small (i)<\/strong> icon appears next to the summary and chart headings to indicate the stats are based on the last 1,000 runs. To analyze all runs, create a custom report<\/a> and use the analytics feature there.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Hover over the charts on the left to view detailed information on your workflow runs and tasks against their total number.<\/p>\n

Clicking the numbers on the right filters the workflow runs below to show active workflow runs in that status.<\/p>\n

To exit a filtered view and look at all the active workflow runs again, click Remove filter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The workflow run summary also shows you the average completion time<\/strong> for this workflow. The time is displayed using the two largest applicable units \u2014 for example, “3mo 5d” or “2h 30min” \u2014 so it stays readable whether your workflow typically takes minutes or months.<\/p>\n

Workflow runs tab<\/h2>\n

The dashboard has two main tabs: Workflow runs<\/strong> and Activity<\/strong>. The Workflow runs<\/strong> tab is selected by default and has two view modes: Table<\/strong> and Analytics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Table view<\/h3>\n

The Table<\/strong> view shows your workflow’s active runs. Sort the table by clicking the arrows next to each column name.<\/p>\n

To include completed runs in the table, turn on the Show completed runs<\/strong> toggle.<\/p>\n

To customize this view with specific columns and filters, click Custom report<\/strong>. This takes you to the Reports dashboard<\/a> where you can create a custom filter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pro tip:<\/strong> To review all the active runs of a workflow, go directly to the workflow dashboard instead of creating a new filter for that specific workflow in the Reports dashboard.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Analytics view<\/h3>\n

Switch to Analytics<\/strong> to see workflow run and task data as visual charts. The pie charts and task breakdowns are based on the most recent 1,000 workflow runs.<\/p>\n

Activity tab<\/h2>\n

The Activity<\/strong> tab shows you the latest updates made to your workflow. From here, you can also restore your workflow to a previous version or restore any deleted workflow runs.<\/p>\n

Run, edit, and view the workflow<\/h2>\n

From the right panel, click Run<\/strong> to run<\/a> this workflow or click Edit<\/strong> to enter the workflow editor<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Clicking View<\/strong> takes you to a published version of this workflow where you can view all the tasks and associated automations of this workflow.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> If you want to edit the workflow without reviewing the dashboard, click Edit<\/strong> as soon as you land in the dashboard. Alternatively, when you’re in the Library, click the pencil icon<\/strong> next to your workflow’s name to go straight to the editor, skipping the dashboard altogether.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There is more than one way to run a workflow, within and outside Process Street. Under More running options,<\/strong> explore all the ways to run workflows<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Workflow settings<\/h2>\n

Customize a workflow<\/a> by adding a cover image<\/strong> or an icon<\/strong> or by using your company images. You can also give it a brief description for added context.<\/p>\n

Click on the Settings<\/strong> cog to add, delete, or update the workflow icon or cover image, and edit its name or description.<\/p>\n

Here you can also manage your workflow’s comments<\/a> or share link<\/a> settings.<\/p>\n

Automations<\/h2>\n

Automations<\/a> are a great way to trigger actions within Process Street like running a workflow when a workflow run is completed or adding a new row to a data set when a task is checked. You can also send out data to other apps you use most.<\/p>\n

View all the active automations connected to your workflow here. Hover over an automation to see what it does, like adding a new row to a Google sheet when a task is checked.<\/p>\n

Workflow assignments<\/h2>\n

Under Assigned to me<\/strong>, see the total number of tasks, approvals, and workflow runs assigned to you that are on track, due soon, overdue, or don’t have a due date.<\/p>\n

Clicking on any of these numbers takes you to My Work<\/a>, with a filtered view of that workflow and that status.<\/p>\n

Sharing and permissions<\/h2>\n

Invite users to this workflow or manage the user permissions<\/a> of existing users by clicking the Permissions<\/strong> icon in the top right corner.<\/p>\n

Share this workflow with internal or external users via a share link<\/a> by clicking the Share<\/strong> button in the top right corner.<\/p>\n
