{"id":331,"date":"2022-03-01T08:00:41","date_gmt":"2022-03-01T08:00:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/weekdays-only-dynamic-due-dates\/"},"modified":"2024-03-07T11:39:01","modified_gmt":"2024-03-07T11:39:01","slug":"weekdays-only-dynamic-due-dates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/weekdays-only-dynamic-due-dates\/","title":{"rendered":"Select Weekdays Only on Dynamic Due Dates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve just released an update for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/dynamic-due-dates\/\">Dynamic Due Dates<\/a> that allows you to choose <strong>weekdays only<\/strong> as a rule.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12835\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/DDD-weekdays-only.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"65%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When you add a <em>new<\/em> dynamic due date rule, the default will be set to weekdays only, as shown above.<\/p>\n<p>For <em>existing<\/em> rules you already have set up the weekdays only box will be unchecked.<\/p>\n<h3>What happens on weekends?<\/h3>\n<p>Weekends are defined as Saturday and Sunday by default.<\/p>\n<p><strong>After rules:<\/strong> If your dynamic due date would have fallen on a day on the weekend, and you set the rule to <em>after<\/em> with weekdays only box checked, the due date will be set for the next working day (i.e. Monday).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Before rules:<\/strong> If your dynamic due date would have fallen on a day on the weekend, and you set the rule to <em>before<\/em> with weekdays only box checked, the due date will be set for the previous working day (i.e. Friday).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve just released an update for Dynamic Due Dates that allows you to choose weekdays only as a rule.
