The result: faster load times, more relevant stats, and a more stable experience.

What changed

Previously, the dashboard analyzed every workflow run ever created when calculating summary stats, pie charts, and task breakdowns. For workflows with thousands of runs, this meant slow queries — sometimes taking up to two minutes to load.

Now, the dashboard focuses on the most recent 1,000 runs. The stats you see — on track, due soon, overdue, average completion time — reflect your current activity, not data from thousands of runs ago.

Why this matters

More relevant data. Stats based on recent activity give a more accurate picture of how your workflows perform right now.

Dramatically faster. Dashboard load times dropped from up to 2 minutes to under 1 second for large workflows.

More stable. The slow queries that occasionally caused timeouts and database pressure are gone.

What to expect

For workflows with fewer than 1,000 runs, nothing changes — the numbers stay the same.

For workflows with more than 1,000 runs, a small (i) icon appears next to summary and chart headings. This indicates the stats are based on the last 1,000 runs.

How to check it out

Open a workflow from the Library.

Go to the Dashboard tab.

Review the summary stats, pie charts, and task breakdowns — they now load almost instantly.

For workflows with 1,000+ runs, hover over the (i) icon to see the data scope.

Note: If you need insights across all runs, create a custom report using the Analytics feature.

For more details on the Workflow Dashboard, check out the Workflow Dashboard help article.

The Workflow Dashboard now computes analytics based on your most recent 1,000 workflow runs instead of your entire run history.
