This style of launching originated from Jeff Walker and his program product launch formula. I couldn't recommend and endorse his training enough.

This process below will not teach what Jeff Walker teaches, but rather will focus on the execution of creating a high-quality video series. Creating the series and ones like it has been my personal Dragon. These projects are always the most challenging and most difficult to tackle. Even though I believe the power of process video series that I created for business by design is by far the best video series I've ever created I still feel like I made a ton of mistakes and this Dragon got the best of me.

Needless to say, I've included a process to help guide you through your own video creation experience. This may seem intense. This may seem overwhelming. But, when done right, this can be one of most valuable things you do to grow your business and attract new members. In less than eight months, we've been able to generate almost $2 million in sales because of this video series method.

There are a lot of moving parts so let's go ahead and get started.

Note: You can locate the 3-part video series for Business By Design here: The Power of Process

The Video Series Format:

We must begin with the format and concept of a video series. The mistake most people make, and I made this mistake too, is that a three part video series is simply three videos of content and nothing more.

Just like an iceberg, there is what you see on the surface, and there is everything else. A video series, like an iceberg, has far more under the surface than it does above. We will only scratch upon this, and I will give you the bare bone minimum so you can understand what you need in order to move forward. However I couldn't recommend enough that you grab product launch formula or Jeff Walker's book Launch in order to master all of this.

The Big Picture

The three part video series is traditionally broken up into three themes. However the opportunity you are selling is not your product or your service, but rather the vehicle or mechanism that creates the transformation for your audience.

In the Business By Design video series, the mechanism was processes and systems. The goal of video one was thus threefold…

Identify and agitate the problem of your ideal viewer

Identify the ideal solution or transformation for your viewer

Makes the case for why this vehicle (ie Processes) is the most effective way to get to the transformation

This third part is key. You must be able to explain your vehicle in such a way that people easily understand it, then you must make a case for why is the best vehicle. This is where you share proof, market research, data, etc.

Then I like to end this first video with giving my audience those first steps to take so they can start to see real results right now.

Video 2: The Transformation

If you've done the first video right, that means your audiences super excited to get started. Because you're simply sharing the outline of your course or program. That's right! In this video, you will simply point out all the things they need to be aware of all the things they need to deal and all the things they need to learn about in order to get this transformation successfully. So I've decided to create a checklist of all the things you should be mindful of going into you're shooting day.

Make sure that your videographer has already being debriefed and handed your scripts and story boards so that he or she isn't showing up empty handed. It will also be nice to have already decided on the location for your classroom so there isn't much time spent Setting up and lighting the shot. In fact, make sure to account for at least 60 minutes to set up that shot.

Also, I am making it a requirement that you have at least one person to assist you throughout the day. You'll need help. Sometimes it someone to check your wardrobe or get you a glass of water or get your feedback on something.
