This Electrical Inspection Checklist: Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment is engineered to provide an NEC compliant process<\/strong> to guide you in your safety inspections.<\/p>\n

Electric vehicles are an increasingly popular form of transports and have seen both established manufacturers leaning toward them, while new emergent companies like Tesla also gain notoriety.<\/p>\n

Electric cars are very powerful and, on a full charge, contain a large amount of energy. As such, it is important that we are able to provide a safe experience for users of electric cars<\/strong>. The first step to providing that is being able to maintain the equipment with effective inspection processes. <\/p>\n

This template is malleable<\/strong> and you can add or remove steps or detail within each step as you please. Each inspection-specific task contains the relevant NEC section reference to contextualize the advice and provide a greater opportunity to see how the process relates to the source material. It is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the standards before beginning any inspection<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Throughout the checklist, you will find form fields where you can record relevant information. This data will be stored in the template overview which you can view on the left-hand tab for the template. You can export this data<\/strong> for review to provide an overview into your inspections. <\/p>\n

If you utilize the form fields well, you can select to print your checklist which will give you the option to save it as a PDF. This can, therefore, act as a report generator which you can save and then send to the relevant stakeholders once your inspection is completed.<\/p>\n
