I. Determine Content <\/h2>\n<\/section>\n

a. Catch-up on Relevant Content <\/h2>\n
\n

Is there any new\/relevant material that needs to be added to your program to make your content extraordinary? Make note of that material in this step. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n

b. Survey Students <\/h2>\n
\n

Before creating the course outline, I highly recommend surveying your students\/audience to be sure you are providing them the content that they actually want from you!<\/p>\n

c. Individual Calls with Past Students <\/h2>\n

To get an even better idea of what content you should be including in your next course video(s), get on the phone with your past students. Not only will this be a valuable opportunity to collect case studies, but you will also be able to dive deep with your students to determine their wants and needs. In order to efficiently execute on this step you should consider the following:<\/p>\n

1) Have a Process for Identifying WHO to reach out to (what are the qualifications, which students will provide the most valuable feedback, etc.).<\/p>\n

2) Create a Process for HOW you reach out to those people (Email, Phone, Skype, Scheduling, Etc). We use Calendly<\/a> for booking calls. <\/p>\n

3) Process for the CALL. (Questions, recording, and relaying data)<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n

II. The Course Outline: <\/h2>\n
\n

Map out your lesson plan. Organize your <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n

\n

a. Big Picture Outline <\/h2>\n
\n

Once you have feedback from your audience, and you have determined what you want to cover in your course, you'll need to map out the overview of the content. To use a book as an example, in this step you will determine the Title of your Program and the Chapters (aka Modules) you will cover in your course. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n

b. Individual Lesson Outline <\/h2>\n
\n

Once you have your Big Picture Outline, you will fill in the different lessons you want include in each module. Example below:<\/p>\n
