This usually means that everyone will be participating and no one will have to try out and potentially not make a team.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bluesombrero.zendesk.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/228183707-Tryout-Program-Overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tryout\/Competitive<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Blue Sombrero offers an intuitive, two-step registration process for handling tryouts online.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>First, your parents will register their children online for the actual tryout, which usually doesn\u2019t cost a thing, but allows the club to better organize the event.&nbsp;This allows your coaches to come prepared with information on all players attending the tryout.&nbsp;Once tryouts are held, and teams are built online, you can send out a system generated<span>&nbsp;<\/span><strong>Participant Made the Team Email<\/strong>&nbsp;to the families of the chosen players. This email informs the parents that their child has been selected, and will include the final steps they need to take in order to finalize their acceptance and position on the team.<\/li>\n<li>Lastly, those parents follow the steps in the<span>&nbsp;<\/span><strong>Participant Made the Team Email<\/strong><span>&nbsp;<\/span>to log back into their account, accept their position on the team, and make a secure payment online for the cost of the program.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bluesombrero.zendesk.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/228183907-Team-Registration-Overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Team Registration<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Allow coaches to create their own teams and invite players they know! After a coach registers their team, they\u2019ll have full access to their own team page with the ability to manage their own roster invites. They are even able to enter their own team name!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Camp Registration\n<ul>\n<li><span>This option is the most basic registration type. *Important: This registration type does not include any Team Building or Scheduling features.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p>Once you've selected your program type you will be sent to step one of your registration form. Please click the next button to move on to <strong>Step 1: Program Information<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"step-1-program-information\">\n<h2>Step 1: Program Information<\/h2>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Congratulations on building a new registration form. A non-required question will display for the user to answer but doesn't require the question to be answered to complete registration.<br \/>\n   <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p>While editing a step 2 question you will notice that each question has an <strong>Advanced&nbsp;Settings<\/strong> button.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"image-content\">\n<figure>\n   <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/templates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/q3YhWH1LUcEz-F6Y4N1N6A.png\" alt=\"The Advance Settings allow for a Questions URL, Help Text, a Max Number of Characters, Limiting the Data type and marking a question as required or not required.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/templates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/q3YhWH1LUcEz-F6Y4N1N6A.png\"> <\/a><figcaption>\n     The Advance Settings allow for a Questions URL, Help Text, a Max Number of Characters, Limiting the Data type and marking a question as required or not required.<br \/>\n   <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p>There is not a limit to the number of questions which can be added to step 2 of the registration form and all questions can be reported on.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"step-3-special-fees-and-discounts\">\n<h2>Step 3: Special Fee's and Discounts<\/h2>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p>Step 3 will allow you to c<span>onfigure a Volume Discount, Family Discount, Resident Discount, or a Non-resident Fee that will be specific to this program. As well as add Custom Fees and Discounts in the form of questions.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"image-content\">\n<figure>\n   <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/templates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/vzhV8l5vw-lA2M4iHcJMQw.png\" alt=\"Above is a view of step 3 of the registration form.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/templates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/vzhV8l5vw-lA2M4iHcJMQw.png\"> <\/a><figcaption>\n     Above is a view of step 3 of the registration form.<br \/>\n   <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p><strong>Volume Discount<\/strong>:&nbsp;<span>If a participant signs up for more than 1 Division in this Program, a Volume Discount can automatically be subtracted from the price (configured in Step 6) of the 2nd, 3rd, and so on Divisions. This is common for Camp Program Types.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p><strong>Family Discount<\/strong>:&nbsp;<span>If more than 1 participant in a family signs up for this Program, a Family Discount can automatically be subtracted from the price (configured in Step 6 of the Registration Wizard) of the Division for the 2nd, 3rd, and so on participants.&nbsp;<\/span><strong>The 1st participant will never receive the Family Discount<\/strong><span>.&nbsp;Click on<\/span><strong>&nbsp;Edit<\/strong><span>&nbsp;next to the&nbsp;<\/span><strong>Family Discount Amount<\/strong><span>&nbsp;to set a Max # of Participants per family that the Family Discount will apply to.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p><strong>Non-Resident Fee<\/strong>&nbsp;OR&nbsp;<strong>Resident Discount<\/strong>:&nbsp;<span>If a user lives within a particular city or zip code, you can add a Non-Resident Fee OR Subtract a Resident Discount from their Division Price. Click on&nbsp;<\/span><strong>Edit<\/strong><span>&nbsp;to select if this is a Non-Resident Fee or Resident Discount. Cities and Zip Codes are configured in Site Settings.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p><strong>Non-Volunteer Fee<\/strong>: A Non-Volunteer Fee can be automatically added to the price if a volunteer role is not selected before check out.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p>In Step 3 you will also have the ability to add a&nbsp;<strong>Custom Fee&nbsp;<\/strong>OR&nbsp;<strong>Discount<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"image-content\">\n<figure>\n   <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/templates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/lcPWzDlWdJqfmXiUoBtEaQ.png\" alt=\"Clicking on the highlighted button able will allow you to add a Custom Fee or Discount.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/templates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/lcPWzDlWdJqfmXiUoBtEaQ.png\"> <\/a><figcaption>\n     Clicking on the highlighted button able will allow you to add a Custom Fee or Discount.<br \/>\n   <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p>After the&nbsp;<strong>Add a Custom Fee or Discount&nbsp;<\/strong>button is clicked you can create three different types of discounts or fees. Below you will see an example of all three.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p>1. Custom DIscount&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"image-content\">\n<figure>\n   <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/templates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/l1LhfdQt7v5fpsR3kHBNZg.png\" alt=\"In this example, a parent would see a question during the registration period asking if each of the players being signed up played with the organization last season. This is the feature we covered in step 3 of the registration form. However, these fees and discounts will only apply to this specific division.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"image-content\">\n<figure>\n   <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/templates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/ippdEzBHZBhg0a7OkD1N9g.png\" alt=\"In the example above a minimum payment amount, early bird discount and a late fee have all be entered. If you remember in my example above I limited my division to 250 participants. If the waitlist is enabled the 251st player to register will go onto the waitlist. Your organization&nbsp;can then choose to <a href=\"https:\/\/bluesombrero.zendesk.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/228183927-Wait-List-Guide\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">activate a participant or participants from the waitlist<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"image-content\">\n<figure>\n   <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/templates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/sD41IaHnKy28ZfAqL6ZKdA.png\" alt=\"In the example above you can see the waitlist has been toggled on.
