If not, replace the batteries and repeat the test.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Sprinkler system<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>If your sprinklers are connected to an alarm, <strong>inform the fire department<\/strong> that you are going to do a test.<\/li>\n<li>Find your <strong>water flow test control valve<\/strong>, also labeled main drain, inspector test or test and drain.<\/li>\n<li>Slowly turn the test control valve on. Let the water run for about <strong>one minute<\/strong>. You might hear an alarm at this point.
