Since then, it\u2019s rapidly <a href=\"https:\/\/tettra.com\/templates\/decision-making\/daci\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">gained momentum<\/a> in fast-moving, cooperative companies as a way to increase their group decision-making turnaround.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The benefit of any responsibility matrix is that it clearly outlines who is responsible for what and when, eliminating the confusion and endless debate that can come with group decision-making.<\/p>\n<p>For product managers juggling different tasks on various fronts, DACI clarifies who the ultimate decision-maker is and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dummies.com\/careers\/project-management\/raci-daci-understanding-product-management-responsibilities\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">prevents bottlenecks<\/a> from occurring when tasks don\u2019t complete at the same time.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"kickoff\">\n<h2>Kickoff:<\/h2>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p>This <strong>checklist<\/strong> is meant to act as a <strong>basic outline<\/strong> for using the <strong>DACI framework<\/strong> during your regular <strong>meetings<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There are two <strong>significant features<\/strong> used within this section: <strong>stop tasks<\/strong> and <strong>approvals<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/help\/docs\/stop-tasks\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Stop tasks<\/a> ensure that a checklist is <strong>completed<\/strong> in a <strong>particular<\/strong> <strong>order<\/strong> by <strong>preventing tasks<\/strong> beyond that point from being completed <strong>until the stop task<\/strong> is completed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/approvals\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Approvals<\/a> help <strong>save time<\/strong> by streamlining your hand-offs and approvals process. <strong>Driver<\/strong> and <strong>Approver<\/strong> roles.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>responsibility<\/strong> of the <strong>Driver<\/strong> is to, in essence, <strong>drive the decision-making process<\/strong>. The Driver is <strong>not<\/strong> necessarily the person who ultimately <strong>makes the decision<\/strong>, but they are <strong>responsible for<\/strong> ensuring a <strong>decision<\/strong> gets made.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Approver<\/strong>, as you might imagine, is <strong>responsible<\/strong> for making the <strong>final decision<\/strong>.
