If you <strong>already have an Apple account<\/strong> you just need to login, if not you will have to <strong>register to get an Apple ID<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>An Apple ID is <strong>your username for everything you do with Apple<\/strong> so check if you already have it. See if you have done any of these things which would mean you already <strong>have the ID number<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shop on the <strong>iTunes store<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Enable<strong> iCloud<\/strong> on all of your devices<\/li>\n<li>Buy from <strong>Apple Online Store<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Make a reservation at an<strong> Apple Retail Store<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Access the <strong>Apple Support<\/strong> Website<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you already have the ID number<a href=\"https:\/\/idmsa.apple.com\/IDMSWebAuth\/login?appIdKey=891bd3417a7776362562d2197f89480a8547b108fd934911bcbea0110d07f757&amp;baseURL=https:\/\/developer.apple.com\/&amp;path=%2F%2Fregister%2Fagree%2F&amp;rv=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> Log In here<\/a>. Wildcard App IDs are created by<strong> entering an asterisk&nbsp;at the end<\/strong> of the App ID string.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Example:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>ABCDE12345 is the Bundle Seed ID (generated by Apple)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>*<\/strong> is the Bundle Identifier of the App ID. When you enter the Bundle Identifier in your Xcode project you need to replace the asterisk with an appropriate string using the reverse-DNS format<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>com.foocompany.* is the Bundle Identifier of the App ID and the Bundle Identifier in your Xcode project must start with \u2018com.foocompany.\u2019 and the asterisk can be replaced with a string of your choosing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Explicit App ID<\/strong> is required to <strong>enable certain iOS features<\/strong> such as In App Purchase and Apple Push Notification service in your applications. These IDs are created by <strong>entering a specific string in the identifier portion<\/strong> of your App ID. If necessary, Xcode creates a distribution certificate and distribution provisioning profile for you. The name of the distribution provisioning profile begins with the text XC.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>In the dialog that appears, review the app, its entitlements, and provisioning profile.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>To include bitcode, ensure that \u201cInclude bitcode\u201d is checked (bitcode is enabled by default).Apps you upload to iTunes Connect that contain bitcode will be compiled and linked on the App Store. Be distinctive \u2014 avoid names that use generic terms or are substantially similar to existing app names.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Also take into account that names over 23 characters may be truncated on iOS devices.<\/p>\n<p>Your <strong>app icon&nbsp;<\/strong>should&nbsp;be distinctive enough for users to recognise without being told the app name. It should be legible in all required sizes, the full list of which can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.apple.com\/library\/ios\/documentation\/UserExperience\/Conceptual\/MobileHIG\/IconMatrix.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>An <strong>app preview&nbsp;<\/strong>demonstrates the features, functionality, and UI of your app in a short video that users can watch directly on the App Store. Keep it between 15 and 30 seconds, and only use footage directly from the app itself. More tips can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.apple.com\/app-store\/app-previews\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When no app preview is available the App Store default to show <strong>app screenshots.&nbsp;<\/strong>Apple recommends to:<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Add copy and graphic overlays only when you need to provide context for the images. Avoid framing your screenshots with Apple products, as they do not add value to your message and reduce the space available for your screenshots&quot;<\/p>\n<p>The ideal <strong>app description<\/strong> is concise, attention-grabbing and highlights the main features of the app in a list. Don't include pricing or keywords in your description copy.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>What's New&nbsp;<\/strong>section of your product page will show any updates, bug fixes or tweaks you have made to your app.<\/p>\n<p>Your <strong>keywords<\/strong> are limited to 100 characters, so maximize this space by removing plural duplicates, category names and the word 'app'.<\/p>\n<p>You also must remove:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>unauthorized use of trademarked terms, celebrity names, and other protected words and phrases<\/li>\n<li>terms that are not relevant to the app<\/li>\n<li>competing app names<\/li>\n<li>irrelevant, inappropriate, offensive, or objectionable terms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Below is a list of categories your app might fall under.
