When a fire is witnessed this <strong>must be pushed almost immediately<\/strong> to stop any devastating events.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"locate-fire-control-equipment\">\n<h2>Locate fire control equipment<\/h2>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p><strong>Locate where the fire control equipment is in the store<\/strong>. It has to be <strong>easily accessible<\/strong> for staff to gain access to and for them to use. There needs to be at least one water or foam fire extinguisher in the store. <strong>Identify if there are any fire extinguishers in the store<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"select-field-content form-field-content\">\n<div class=\"form-group\">\n   <label> Is there a fire extinguisher in the store <\/label><br \/>\n<select disabled=\"\" class=\"form-control\"><option value=\"An option will be selected here\">An option will be selected here<\/option><\/select><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"store-flammable-material\">\n<h2>Store flammable material<\/h2>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p><strong>Make sure any flammable material is correctly stored away<\/strong> and out of site from anything that could cause a fire. It can be incredibly dangerous to have any type of material that is flammable to be just lying on the shop floor. If a staff member does not know how to use any of the fire control equipment (extinguisher, etc) it could result in injuries. <strong>Staff should be trained by a professional<\/strong> or by someone that knows how to use the extinguisher correctly; this can prevent any crisis happening.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"ensure-safety-training-is-given\">\n<h2>Ensure safety training is given<\/h2>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p><strong>Ensure safety training has been given to staff members<\/strong>. For staff to know what to do in the event of a crisis they are going to need training. A qualified instructor or someone who knows the training regulations <strong>should give staff proper training<\/strong>. Check that all electrical items have been tested and they work properly. If there is a <strong>faulty<\/strong> item, <strong>remove them<\/strong> from the store to prevent any problems from occurring.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"store-wires-away\">\n<h2>Store wires away<\/h2>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p><strong>Store wires away out of sight on the shop floor<\/strong>. Customers do not want to see wires lying around the shop floor, store the wires in a way that won't cause any problems. There are many ways to store your wires away<strong> safely<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hide cables with <strong>foam pipe insulation&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Shorten lengthy&nbsp;cords with <strong>DIY wrappers<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Use a <strong>wire basket<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"after-inspection\">\n<h2>After Inspection:<\/h2>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"conduct-regular-safety-meetings\">\n<h2>Conduct regular safety meetings<\/h2>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p><strong>Conduct regular safety meetings<\/strong> to ensure that all staff members are up-to-date with new health and safety procedures and regulations. There may be new methods of fire control that staff needs to know about so having them know, may be beneficial.
