The configuration walks you through all the steps required to install the Managed Package and configuring the synchronization service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What to expect:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You'll need to be a Salesforce Administrator to complete these steps<\/li>\n<li>You may way to use your Salesforce Sandbox<\/li>\n<li>The user that completes these steps will be the default owner of SaaSquatch custom objects<\/li>\n<li>You should have a base understanding of Salesforce and SaaSquatch to complete these steps<\/li>\n<li>You'll be able to configure the data you wish to sync from SaaSquatch into Salesforce<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What is not covered:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How to setup your SaaSquatch account -- Talk to your account manager<\/li>\n<li>How to configure Salesforce page layouts -- That's in the next step<\/li>\n<li>How to setup a Salesforce Sandbox -- Complete the Salesforce Trailhead Trails for Admins<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"login-to-your-salesforce-organization\">\n<h2>Login to your Salesforce organization<\/h2>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p>SaaSquatch works with both <strong>sandbox&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>production<\/strong> Salesforce organizations.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For&nbsp;<strong>sandbox<\/strong> organizations, make sure that you log in from <a href=\"https:\/\/test.salesforce.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/test.salesforce.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li>For&nbsp;<strong>production&nbsp;<\/strong>organizations, make sure that you log in from <a href=\"https:\/\/login.salesforce.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/login.salesforce.com<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In most cases we recommend you install SaaSquatch's Salesforce integration into your sandbox organization first before installing it into your production organization. The configuration walks you through all the steps required to install and configure the Managed Package and synchronization service. Once your configuration is saved, users, referrals, and reward balances will sync with your Salesforce organization. That said, if you're a Salesforce power user then you know that there are a lot of UI tweaks that can be done with an application.<\/p>\n<p>In this section we'll cover:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Including custom fields on Page Layouts for Leads and Contacts<\/li>\n<li>Adding Related Lists to Leads and Contacts<\/li>\n<li>Enabling optional features of SaaSquatch<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"configure-page-layouts\">\n<h2>Configure Page Layouts<\/h2>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p>There are more than a million ways to customize a page layout for your organization. In this section we provide some best practices for including custom fields and related lists, but we also recognize that&nbsp;you might want to customize these in your own way.<\/p>\n<p>We recommend that you get started with these default layouts and then evolve them as need be.<\/p>\n<p>Remember that these page layouts have no effect on the actual functionality of your program.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<h4>Lead - Page Layout Customization<\/h4>\n<p>The easiest way to edit a page layout for a lead is to open a lead record in Salesforce classic and clicking the <strong>Edit Layout<\/strong> button in the top right.
