Feel free to engage in a little pre-show banter to build some rapport.<\/p>\n<p>When you are ready to record the interview hit the record button on the <strong>Call Recorder<\/strong> window and make sure the audio metres are registering for the <strong>input<\/strong> (your microphone) and the <strong>output<\/strong> (your guests microphone).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"image-content\">\n<figure>\n   <a href=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/templates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/l5U_8zx8Wz5TalTpZxNHaQ.png\" alt=\"Click the record button on the call recorder window to start recording your call.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.process.st\/templates\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/l5U_8zx8Wz5TalTpZxNHaQ.png\" \/> <\/a><figcaption>\n     Click the record button on the call recorder window to start recording your call.<br \/>\n   <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p>Once you have determined that the audio is recording correctly, leave a three second gap of silence, clap your hands in front of the camera and begin your interview using the format outlined below.<\/p>\n<p>It is a good idea to tell your guest you're going to clap for the edit before you do it.<\/p>\n<p>This makes it easier for our editor to find the start of the interview and lineup the audio and video in postproduction.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<h4>Podcast Interview Format<\/h4>\n<p>So what's the process for interviewing our podcast guests?
