your first Ciellie Solar Site Survey!
1) Drone Flight: in this part of the survey, you will perform a drone flight. In this drone flight, you will take images of all angles of the roof. All images MUST be taken in JPG/JPEG

The first image you will take is a "Picture of Measuring Tape at 8ft". Your first step is to take your measuring tape, lock it at 8ft, then take an image with your drone showing that it is at 8ft. Here is an example image below:

200ft AGL 40 degree camera tilt Orbital Flight
The next sequence of images you will take is a "200ft AGL 40 degree camera tilt Orbital Flight". In these sequence of images, you will fly to 200ft AGL and tilt your camera at a 40* angle with the house in the middle of the screen. Keep the house centered the entire orbit.

After this orbit, you should have taken 100 images.
200ft AGL 90 degree camera tilt Photo (1) for Map Notes
The next image you will take is "200ft AGL 90 degree camera tilt Photo (1) for Map Notes". You will later utilize this image to create a map to show where the breaker, meter & attic access(es) are.

60-100ft AGL 40 degree camera tilt Orbital Flight
The next sequence of images you will take is a "60-100ft AGL 40 degree camera tilt Orbital Flight". In these sequence of images, you will fly to 60-100ft AGL and tilt your camera at a 40* angle with the house in the middle of the screen. Keep the house centered the entire orbit. The house should take up 75% of your screen. Sometimes this is lower than 60ft AGL & that's ok. Position the house in the middle of the screen, 40* camera tilt & 75% of your screen should be taken up by the house.

Up-Close Roof Quality Inspection

In this sequence of images, you will take images of each side of the roof as close as you are comfortable getting. This will allow us to check the quality of the roof. See an example of this sequence here: up-close roof quality inspection
2) Exterior & Meter: in this part of the survey, you will walk around taking images from all around the exterior of the house. You will also locate the electric meter & take images of the meter

In this image, "Front of house showing house # photo" you will simply take a photo of the address number. Please confirm that the image is not blurry.

Contextual photos walking around the house
In this sequence of images, you will walk all around the exterior of the house taking images of all angles.

Pull back photo 6’ from meter
Similar to above. Just pull back 6' this time.
3) Electrical_Breaker: in this part of the survey, you will take images of the main service panel, any sub-panels (if applicable) & any external-panels (if applicable)
Replace dead-front cover & Check that nothing was switched on/off
Once you are done taking the Photos with dead-front cover removed showing wiring, replace the dead-front cover back on. Make sure you do not trigger any switches as you do this.

Replace the dead-front, then take images of the MSP with the door open & some with the door closed. See examples here: MSP with the dead-front Replaced
If there's an External Panel (EXP) create & label a separate folder. Repeat sequence above (MSP instructions) for the EXP
Sub-Panel (SUBP, if Present):

4) Attic_Truss: in this part of the survey, you will take images of the any attic accesses as well as measure & capture the truss' height, width & spacing
Take photos of showing the height, width & spacing of the rafters/truss. The photos MUST be showing the measuring tape clearly showing the measurement. This is crucial.

5) Map Notes: in this part of the survey, you will:
- Download the “200ft AGL 90 degree camera tilt Photo for Map Notes” Image
- Add a map key - Add North, South, East & West - Mark Breaker Location
- Mark Sup & External Panels (If applicable)
- Mark Attic Access(es) - Mark Roof(s) - Mark Meter
