pull up the Gross Profit detail.
customize and add in debit and credit columns

Total by customer
Drop into Excel workbook, save Gross Profit by Job
Debit = expenses, credit = income
Look at each job
- inventory (WL's) total kind of matches Bonnell Customer Sales Revenue. Highlight to alert you've checked
- was non-inventory and freight charged for?
- Reimbursement for Engineering Fees - won't have expense associated with it in same month
- are dates all in same month?
- installers are contractors or Junior/Sebastian make sure match revenue, payroll entry may fall in another month. Should we move expense to current month?
- welding is separated out on revenue but you won't see an expense match it
- Profit Margin is usually around 50% on projects. Bigger jobs have smaller margin
- If you see expenses but no revenue, go see in ERP notes to see if the expense should be in another month. Change date but DO NOT CHANGE DUE DATE.
- Field Measure we won't have an expense
- Blockout Shipping Okay to leave and have no invoice
- If expenses are more than revenue, check CBI form in ERP to see if done billing. If not, check to see if any expenses be moved to next month. Follow Up wtih PM.
- inventory may need to be on two pull sheets so inventory matches revenue.
If engineering fees and no invoice, leave it alone.
Invoices - look all of the entries and make sure the correct dates are on the expenses. All expenses need to be associated with the invoice. When changing the date make sure you do not change the due date.
Make list for Tracy for items that have dates in the current month that have not billed.
Check to make sure they have not billed in prior months. The expense could be old.
Run p&L year to date and total by month - have a few months to compare
look for trends, margins, etc.
clean up suspense
Warehouse expense miscellaneous - make sure it was not a COG
look at salaries, look for swings from month to month
look for missing expenses
APN bill needs to be moved most of the time.
look for repairs that can be capitalized
Taxes other - fine to put business licenses there but income taxes need to be moved to distribuu
