Initiate Onboarding

Onboarding invite will be sent from Paylocity

Include ALL of the following information while building out an employee profile:

• FULL NAME
• FULL NAME
• START DATE
• POSITION
• PAY TYPE (SALARY,HOURLY,AUTO)
• PAY FREQUENCY

User ID setup will be created in Paylocity it the following format.

first name initial Last name -----> Jsmith

{{form.Employee_first_name}}{{form.Employee_last_name}}'s role is {{form.Position}}

Send welcome email to new hire

Integrated Background check registration within Paylocity:

Checkr will send an invite to complete this process

-Log into Checkr https://identity.checkr.com/login

Select Invite Candidates

Select a package’ dropdown, choose ‘Pro Criminal’

Enter email addresses of employees that need screenings

Enter employee personal email > click ‘Send Invitations

**If additional screenings need to be run repeat this process by choosing a direct option when choosing a "package".

Status can be viewed on Paylocity Onboarding Dashboard

Integrated Drug Test Registration within Paylocity:

Edit if employee information if necessary

Click "Submit Case"

To View the status of a Case, return to the home screen > Cases > Click on "View Cases"

Store the case results within employee documents per clients request

Finalizing Employee Onboarding

• Navigate to HR & Payroll dashboard 

• Search for the employee either by SSN# or Last Name  
• If employee does not show in “HR & Payroll” dashboard, this means that the employee has not completed their required onboarding paperwork. 
• Review all required documents and verify completion
