Introduction

Once you have a Client’s Website your #1 goal is to get more traffic and subscribers. Google Analytics help you make data-driven decisions by showing you the stats that matter. You can see:

  • Who visits the website?
  • What do people do when they are on the website?
  • When do people visit the website?
  • How do people find the website?
  • How do people interact with the content on the website?

Step 1 – Login to MCC

We use Google Tag Manager to install Google Analytics on a client’s website.

Step 3 – Add Container

Now you need to add a container to your account. A container could be a website or an app for iOS or Android platforms. In this case, we will use the web.

You should use your client’s site’s domain for the container name. You can add multiple containers for each account. Once you’re done click on the create button to continue.

Google Tag Manager will now create your account with the container, and you will see your container dashboard. It would look something like this:

After we set Variable type as "Google Analytics Settings" you will be asked for Tracking ID.
We will get it in the next step.
