In Pipedrive, record the person's first/last name, LinkedIn profile address, and what group they are in (for example, "FFI Speakers" or "FFA Speakers").

Why do you do this before even sending the initial connection request? Couldn't you save yourself some time by only entering accepting people into Pipedrive? Yes, but I want to be able to track my conversion rate for the stage "initial connection request to acceptance/ignoring of initial connection request."

NOTE: If a deal already exists in your pipeline for a person (for example, you already LinkedIn cold called John Doe from conference #1, and he's speaking at conference #2 also), you don't need to enter a new John Doe deal for the new conference (conference #2) you are LinkedIn cold calling. When you enter conference #2 into John Doe's Group field, the existing John Doe deal will automatically show up in the deal filter for conference #2.
