Find High Authority Sites For Backlinking

Find Your Focus Keyword

Choose any one blog for which you wish to find backlinks.

Access your wordpress site. Login to the wordpress admin and open the list of blogs. /wp-admin/edit.php

Copy "Focus Keyword" of the blog you want to target today

Google search your focus keyword

Go to google.com and enter "Focus Keyword" Dont forget quotes

Check the search results page.

Make sure your google results are showing 100 results per page and not default 10. Change the setting by going to https://www.google.com/preferences

Click never show instant results and drag the bar below to 100.

Prepare Spreadsheet of sites to reach out.

Selecting Target Websites From Search Results

Select 3 websites every week. Make sure the websites your decide to target are not your direct competitors. For each site copy details and add to backlink research sheet. (download template: https://goo.gl/vOHKlw)

Copy Site Title and add to "Title"

Copy Site URL and add to "Source URL"

Copy Meta Description and add to "Source Meta"

Also Add just the website name in "Website to Target" column

For every website collect your data in one google sheet.

The sheet will now have a list of 3 sites x 20-50 broken links = 60-150 broken links

Getting Broken Links

Once you select a website get its URL and use the broken link finder tool - http://www.brokenlinkcheck.com/broken-links.php. Let the tool scan about 50 results then stop.

Copy the website URL we pasted in SHEET in last step

Open http://www.brokenlinkcheck.com/broken-links.php

Enter URL

Add Captcha

Choose "Report distinct broken links only"

Click "Find broken Links Now!"

The results will be in table form with the following data. This table may have large number of results so we need to make sure we only getting relevent URLS. Tables has

Broken link (you can scroll this field left-right)
Page where found
Server response

Look at second colums to get idea of what links are broken.

We can skip all internal broken links ( links that point to same site)
We can skip links that are for social media networds
We can skip links that are of our competitiors

IF you find something relevent then do the following. Our aim is to get abour 100 Broken URLS in a week.

Right Click "url" in "Page where found" column and to sheet inside "Page where found - URL" Column in research sheet

Normal Click "src" in "Page where found" column and copy everything inside <a> </a> tags and add to "Page where found - URL" Column in research sheet

Now we should Make a list of the site that has broken links. 15-20 Links from this site should be fine. Also go through the content that has these broken links to see if it is worth getting a back link. The page has to be of high quality and have relevant content to our website.

We can also offer to fix their page with more updated info, better design if they can agree for a backlink back to our site.

Reaching out to Researched sites for backlink

Once we have some relevent pages for each site we can begin our outreach. Now we need to find contact email of relevent person related to the website. Some places where we get this informations is

Use the temCopy these page links and prepare a list like this https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wl5MW-AIatEkcbAS9LfOouzwn1Km6RWgG2OAjBLhRbY/edit#gid=0 which will tell us whom to contact Find the email Id of the website owner in each case. Check the contact page of the site, or Note the email ID downplate attached below for sending an email.

Go to Google and search for "@website.com" and look for any valid email ID in the search results.

As you can see we found one email result. This email as google would show is also mentioned in a number of places so safe to assume we can Contact this peron. Use the templat below to reach out to this person. Please send email from @website.com email account. This is the email for the site you are trying to get backlinks for.
