TeamOlikka – Onboarding

Our People and Culture Manager will go through your induction with you, answering any questions or queries you might have.

You will need to download all the systems and tools that we use here relevant to your role. These can all be found at apps.olikka.com

We have a number of systems and tools here at Olikka. They all have a purpose and help us in the way we work - please see an overview of WHY we use each system and their benefit to us in working out loud.

Your safety is our Number One priority!! You will have a walk through of our evacuation procedures, check your pass is working, show you around the office, amenities and public areas.

We have not one, not two but THREE Coffee machines at Olikka HQ for you to use. Take a look at some info on how to use them here 🙂

Slack is one of our most important tools especially in order to collaborate and stay connected as a team. Make sure you reach out and say hi to the team in the #all-company channel.

Half the day gone already, let's go grab lunch and then head back to the office to have lunch with some of the team. If you are new to this area or the CBD - take a look in here for some inspiration.

We want to show our customers just how bloody brilliant you are, the best way to do this is by completing an Olikka CV. You can find a template here 🙂 please save this in the Olikka CVs Dropbox folder.

Our Operations Manager, Amit, is a wealth of knowledge for all things Olikka and Operations. Grab a coffee with him this afternoon to get the low down on how we do things here.

We know that during your first day/week there is a lot of info to take in so make sure you go and have a read of our Operations knowledge base here.

When it comes to getting to grips with who we are and what exactly makes Olikka different our Marketing Manager, Michael Wines "AKA Winesy" is a great place to start.

Spend some time with him going through your marketing induction, he'll tell you all about our USPs and Go to market. Slack him and see when he's free this week 🙂

We want your lovely face on our website along with your bio and "likes". Our Office Manager will take a snap of you for the team page and your business cards. Go and find Gemma and she'll get started.

You'll have ongoing 8 weekly catch ups with your manager during your time here at Olikka but definitely pick their brain over the first 2 weeks for any help on how to navigate the Olikka water 🙂

We are a fun loveing bunch here at Olikka and are always laughing and joking with one another but we want to make sure everyone feels comfortable, safe and respected here at HQ and customer sites. Take a look through these bighead articles for some tips on Olikka Etiquette.

Time to tell us about you! Spend some time talking with Jason our Resource Coordinator going through your tech background, areas you want to develop and he will also show you how to use Float and Workflow Max. You might want to work together on selecting a project or tech for you to shadow.

Take some time over the next few days to review some customer info, have a chat with our Sales Team and your Manager to find out which customers would be best to get across.

You will spend some time shadowing and helping out on a variety of projects over the next couple of weeks which is a great way to get to know the team. If there are other people around you've not had the chance to meet drop them a message on slack or go grab a coffee. 

Join the slack PingPong channel and check who is top of the leaderboard - maybe challenge them to a game.
