WHAT TO DO IF AN AGENT-TEAM-PLAYER CONTACTS YOU ABOUT JOBS...

This is a great thing. Means you're doing something(s) right.. You have the level... you're talking about working hard to go pro and/or you're showing it on your fan page/social media...

#1 Respond to coaches/teams/agents/players with:

"Thanks so much for your interest/the lead. I'm looking to go pro and my (exclusive or semi-exclusive) agency is EliteVolley.com. I will make a group message to introduce you to the owner Ryan Jay Owens. You can talk about everything with him and th staff since I hired them for all contractual things."

#2 SCREENSHOT the messages you have exchanged so far... Hopefully that was the first and only one... A screenshot show us number one that you didn't say more than you should've and secondly in step 3 will show the person contacting you that you are loyal and have faith in EV. (Ppl will try to scare you sometimes.. there are a lot of sharks that will promise the world)

- This helps us assess the potential offer and how serious it might be...
- Not saying more keeps "power of agent" in the way that we are your voice.. they have to believe what we say is true...

For example they might low ball you and before saying you have an agent to handle everything you might say "Ok great I am looking to play"... well as a team/agent/coach... I read "I would consider that amount!" .. so now if we want to pursue the deal we have to start from whatever thy think you said yes or that you wre interested in... better to be vague and express interest like my example message above in #1... This way they can't read one way or the other and it's diplomatic/friendly.

#3 Post screenshotted msg in a group message on whatever platform they messaged you from... Email, FB, WhatsApp, iMsg,, Telegram, etc. With this message or similar but leave the contact info...

"I've added Ryan and Christy to this group message. Hope you guys can connect soon to talk. Appreciate you thinking of me no matter what!
