Assignee converts Retainer in Sugar from "lead" to "case"

Step 1 - Find the lead/prospect in Sugar

Step 2 - Click on the dropdown, then click on "Convert Lead", then click Save

Attorney assigns the case

Assignee sends Welcome Package to client via email with appropriate attachments included. 

In the event people want the welcome package by mail, Assignee cooridnates with Front Desk to mail out a physical copy of the Welcome Package

Assignee or Attorney drafts the "demand letter" on behalf of the client

Attorney reviews the demand letter, sends letter (with certified card), sets a 40 day deadline, then updates the client

Assignee scans, files, and confirms receipt of Green Cards

Assignee and/or Attorney check on the demand deadline then tasks next steps depending on response

Possible responses:

A) correction letter – list case for settlement track – set for call with client

B) hostile response – list case for strategy meeting to determine strength for filing lawsuit

C) no response – list case for strategy meeting to determine strength for filing lawsuit

AF team case strategy meeting for hostile or no response to demand letter

• Evaluating strengths and facts of case
• Conducting a client interview and discussing goals (i.e. what do they want)
• Send position letter to client explaining risks of litigation [and costs]
• Decide to file or drop
