Testing the New Setup (Very Important)
Test that you can log into the CRM both on the server and the networked PCs (It will ask for a licence - see below)
Check Replication Results.txt to ensure Replication is working
Run the backup scheduled task and ensure the dbbackup.exe process runs, and a new backup is created
Run the Replication Restart task, ensure it runs, and ensure it has logged an entry to repres.log
Log into the CRM on the server to re-license it
Log into CRM as DBA on the new server and it will say the current licence is invalid. Generate a licence application file and give this to a member of support capable of generating licence keys.
Clean-up
Delete any old installers for old versions of CRM, add-ins or plugins
Delete any old log files if they don't have remotes
Delete old scheduled tasks from old server & uninstall the CRM
Move/delete any old stuff from the desktop onto the new server into the correct folder
Ensure the latest CRM installers are available on new server
If using FILE replication you will need to reconfigure the replication on the server and ALL remotes
Change any installer locations for plugins to point to the new server path
