Questions to ask yourself when deciding what to Upsell or Downsell:

3. Create The Upsell Video:

3.1 Create Slide Deck Template

Once you have your script, you'll want to create your slidedeck for the video. Keynote is my preferred application for slidedecks.

3.2 Record Video

Once your slides are ready in Keynote, you'll want to record yourself over the slides.

1. Select Document at the top-right corner in Keynote, and then select Audio.
2. Hit Record, and Keynote will bring up your slides with a red Record button below them.
3. Once you start recording, read your script for the audio and click through the slides as needed. 4. After you finish recording your audio, export as a Quicktime File.

3.3 Edit Video

Once your video is exported, there may be some sections you want to edit. If so, iMovie is an easy and affordable editing software we recommend. We also use Final Cut Pro. Once you've finished editing it, be sure to export it to your desktop. Now it's time to create this Upsell!

3.4 Upload Video

After your video is exported, you'll need to upload it to the platform of your choice. Samcart supports YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, and Amazon S3.

4. Create The Upsell Page:

4.1 Create Upsell in Samcart or Kajabi

1. Log in to Samcart

2. Create a "New Upsell"

3. Fill Out the Form Fields

Provide the Upsell Name, Upsell Description, and select the existing product you want this Upsell offered with.

Once all forms are filled, select the Create Upsell button.

4. Provide Upsell Details

Customize your Upsell.. Most importantly, make sure your Button Text and description is appropriate and connect the correct product to the Upsell. Then scroll down.

5. Embed Video

In the Embedded Video section, first select the platform where you uploaded your video. Samcart supports YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, and Amazon S3. You can also select whether you want the video to be located at the top of the page or the bottom.

Create the checkout page for your upsell

Go back to the original offer you want to add the upsell to.

Select "+Add Upsell Offer" and select the checkout page that you created for the upsell.

5. Connect Upsell to Product:

5.1 Integrate Upsell (Samcart) with Product (Kajabi)

To integrate Samcart with ActiveCampaig and Kajabi, you'll need to take advantage of ActiveCampaign's Tagging System and Kajabi's Webhook.

You can choose to integrate Samcart directly to Kajabi using the Tutorial provided by Samcart using Zapier. And then just use tagging functionality in Samcart to ensure you have the customer added to ActiveCampaign.
