Copying code snippets and quoted text from workflow runs used to mean careful click-and-drag to select the right lines without grabbing extra content. Now, every code block and blockquote in a text widget has a Copy button that does it in one click.

What it does

When you hover over a code block or blockquote inside a workflow run text widget, a small Copy icon appears in the top-right corner. Click it, and the block’s full text is copied to your clipboard as plain text — with all line breaks, indentation, and spacing preserved exactly as displayed. A “Copied to clipboard” confirmation toast appears so you know it worked.

Each block gets its own button, so if a text widget contains multiple code blocks or blockquotes, copy whichever one you need without selecting anything manually.

How to use it

1. Open a workflow run that contains a text widget with code blocks or blockquotes.
2. Hover over the code block or blockquote you want to copy.
3. Click the Copy icon that appears in the top-right corner of the block.
4. Paste the copied text wherever you need it — terminal, editor, message, or document.
