How Can I Set Permissions?

Process Street has multiple ways in which you can configure permissions, letting you directly control what users in your organization can see and edit.

Organization Level Permissions

Organization level permissions effect a user’s access levels across the entire organization (and in some cases if you have to pay for the user or not).

There are three levels of users:

These permissions can be controlled by going into the organization manager (click on your organization’s name in the top right of your in-app view).

Folder Permissions

Permissions on folders are applied to any templates in that folder.

The three levels of individual permissions on a folder are:

  • Can Edit and Run
  • Can View and Run
  • Can View Own and Run

Template/Checklist Permissions

Permissions on templates and checklists affect only that specific item, meaning that the same user can have different permission levels for different templates and checklists. This makes it easy to give users access to only what they need to see.

These permissions can be managed in the settings of the template or checklist that you wish to restrict access to.

The four levels of individual permissions on a template are:

  • Can Edit and Run
  • Can View and Run
  • Can View Own and Run
  • Can View Own
