When you publish changes to a workflow and update active workflow runs, the Run Update Report gives you visibility into the progress of that update. It shows which runs are scheduled, in progress, or finished — so you can track large-scale updates in near-real time.
This is especially useful when updating hundreds or thousands of runs at once, where the process can take time and you need confidence that everything is completing as expected.
The Run Update Report is a filtered view of the Reports page. There are two ways to access it:
This opens the Reports page filtered to that specific workflow, showing only runs with a Run Update Status of Scheduled.
This approach lets you monitor run updates across multiple workflows at once. Add as many workflows as you need to the filter, and save the view for quick access later.
The Run Update Report provides a breakdown of every run affected by your workflow update. Each run displays one of three statuses:
As runs move through the update process, the report reflects their current state.
A Refresh button is available on the Reports screen to reload the data without refreshing your browser. Click it to pull the latest status of your runs.
The Refresh button has a 5-second cooldown to prevent excessive requests. After clicking it, wait for the cooldown before clicking again.
Note: The Refresh button is available across all reports, not only the Run Update Report.
The Run Update Report is most valuable when:
The report does not auto-refresh. Use the Refresh button on the Reports screen to see the latest progress.
The Run Update Report shows the status of the most recent update for a given workflow. Previous update reports are not retained once a new update begins.
If a run remains in the scheduled or in-progress state for an extended period, try refreshing the report. If the issue persists, contact support.
