When a new lead is added to a view in Zoho CRM, Process Street can trigger a checklist. For example, in this article we’ll look at a view that automatically populates with customers that have an annual revenue of over $10,000.
For these high value customers, we want to run a client onboarding checklist to make sure they’re being taken care of to the best of our abilities.
With this integration, you’ll be able to keep track of your new high value customers and follow a structured process to keep your onboarding procedures consistent.
- A company wants to track new high value leads in Zoho CRM
- For each new high value lead, the company wants to run a client onboarding checklist to ensure consistency and customer success
- We will use a pre-made zap to connect Zoho CRM and Process Street
- We will filter the zap’s conditions to only trigger a checklist when a lead enters a particular view
- Details from Zoho CRM will be automatically filled into the checklist to keep information centralized
Let’s get started.
Add the client onboarding template to your Process Street account
We have all kinds of client onboarding templates inside Process Street, but for this example we’re going to use an example designed for a marketing agency to demonstrate.
Click “I want this for my business!” to add the template to your Process Street account. Feel free to make any required edits to personalize the process to your business.
Use this pre-made zap to get started quickly
With one click, you can get this integration configured for you.
Just click ‘Use this zap’ below to get started.
Once you’ve got the zap editor open, expand the sidebar on the left and work through the steps to add your account. After that, you’ll see the option to filter the trigger by a Zoho CRM view. In this case, I’ve set up a new view inside Zoho CRM called “High Value Onboarding”. It shows only leads with $10,000 or more revenue:
Input the view name in Zapier so checklists only run when a new lead enters that view.
Connect your Process Street template to Zoho CRM
In the next part of the zap configuration, choose the template from which a checklist will be run when a new lead enters the view. In this case, it’s our marketing agency client onboarding checklist.
Pull in the lead’s name from Zoho as the checklist title by selecting that variable from the dropdown.
Next, add Zoho CRM variables to the template’s form fields to keep your data centralized. Expanding the advanced options will reveal the template’s form fields. Fill them in using the dropdown menu, as illustrated below:
Test the output
Click “Create & continue” on the next step, and the zap will run with the test data allowing you to check the results inside Process Street.
Here’s the outcome for the example in this article:
